Matthew 6:25-33 NLT
Friend, as a child of God, understand that your mind is no longer for worry but for faith. So much so that Jesus, in the preceding text of scripture, refers to a worrier as one with so little faith. Again he says worry dominates the thoughts of unbelievers; this means they are full of worry and devoid of faith. But not so with you, you are the believing child of a faithful God. Praise God! You see, because of your faith in Christ Jesus, you have his eternal life, you are clothe of his righteousness, you lack nothing. These are the thoughts of a faith filled mind! They are true, gracious, fearless, confident and full of hope in Christ. Hallelujah!
Beloved, the human mind has a way of helping you shift responsibility, but only if you let it do so. It would suggest to you why there is nothing you can do about your present circumstances: it would suggest that troubles at your work place is your bosses’ fault, the condition of your health was passed on by your forebears and great grand parents, or that the current financial challenges you face are due your human background or physical appearance or earthly race. But that is not who you are; you see, through your faith in Christ Jesus, you have been gifted with a spiritual mind. His word says concerning you: for as many as are led by the spirit of God, these are the sons of God. You are not of this world. Therefore, you cannot think like the world. You are born of God and you have Christ’s mind in you! Now, by the faithful thoughts of your spiritual mind and the words you say, you can effect a change in all your affairs. Romans 8:5-15 NKJV
Say this with me: I have a spiritual mind, free from worry and fear. Christ Jesus has granted me a bold, lovely and sound mind. I have a mind which obedient to God’s word: I am clothed with grace, I am clothe with righteousness and full of the eternal life of God. By the faithful words of my mouth and thoughts of my mind, I take charge of every situation I face: I have peace at my workplace, health in my body and success in my financial affairs. Praise God!
